Come tour a Windsor Severance Fire Rescue Station and learn what the firefighters do while on duty. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about what it’s like to be a firefighter and learn all about the fire engine.

Please read the following notes before submitting a request:

  • All requests require a 3-week minimum notice and no more than 2 months notice in advance of the station tour.
  • Stations can only accommodate 1 tour per day, for a maximum of 1 hour.
  • We can accommodate a maximum of 12 children in a group station tour with a minimum of three adults. For safety reasons, attendance is limited to 15 participants.  We ask that the majority of the audience be over four years old.
  • Adults are required to stay with the group for the duration of the tour.
  • Tour start times are scheduled between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Thursday.  Weekend or after-hours tours are available on a case-by-case basis.
  • Please let us know of any accessibility needs in your request so we can assist you with finding a station that meets your needs.
  • Please understand that your visit may be interrupted by staff responding to an emergency call; All visitors will need to exit the station if this occurs.
  • We can’t schedule tours during the month of October (Fire Prevention Month).
