The Life Safety Division handles plan reviews and permitting for fire alarms and fire sprinkler systems. In April of 2013, Weld County adopted the 2012 International Fire Code and in 2019 the Town of Severance and the Town of Windsor adopted the 2018 International Fire Code. Please reference the 2018 IFC Amendment as well as other applicable codes and standards when submitting plans for review.

For 2018, the Windsor Severance Fire Rescue board of directors has approved the 2018 Plan Review Fee Schedule.
** On January 1st, 2024, the new 2024 Plan Review and Permit Fee Schedule will take effect. **
